Atlantic Renovations needed a professional website, that was SEO optimized, well-written, and showcased their expertise.
ABOUT THE CASE STUDY
Atlantic Renovations had been operating for about a decade, but hadn’t invested in their online presence before. Over the past 1.5 years, the company had heavily invested in infrastructure, personnel, and vehicles. To match their physical growth, they wanted a website which reflected their current status and level of professionalism.
The company wanted to create a website which would be a sales support for new and existing clients. Including answering common questions, educating clients about Atlantic Renovations’ processes, and to visually show the quality of their work.

As Atlantic Renovations offers three main services, the site focused around those areas: Bathroom renovations, Basement renovations, and Home additions.
Each focus-page contains expected price ranges, areas to consider for the renovation type, and answers to commonly asked questions.
The project pages are kept very clean, so there is nothing to distract from the photography of the company’s completed renovations.
Atlantic Renovation’s about page gives a brief history of the company along with their business priorities.
Each page on the site makes it easy to request a quote, with links to quote request forms.
As well, there is a click-to-call button displayed in the navigation to make contacting the company easy.
The client requested that we not place any testimonials on their site, instead they preferred for us to link to their Google My Business page. So we created callouts to direct people to their GMB reviews.

The site is built for responsiveness for mobile, tablet, desktop @1080p, and also for larger screens at 4k and 4k+ resolutions.
WHAT WE DID TO HELP THEM
A key design choice with Atlantic Renovations was to keep the color scheme simple, similar to their logo, and consistent across the whole site.
Following that, you will see images with rounded edges, cards with rounded edges and calls-to-actions with rounded edges. The goal was to keep a consistent theme across every page.
As well, the images were mostly taken from the client’s photography collection, however some purchased images were used as well.
All of the images were color corrected and adjusted to maintain a consistent brand feel for all the image assets.
Coding the site was the last step in the site-development process.
As the site was a custom design, it was important to build the back-end to be maintainable by Atlantic Renovations if they needed to make some changes in the future.
So, the site was built using custom fields to ensure easy-maintainability.
